LaRoche Scholar | Founding Cohort 2026

Ryen Cave is a high-achieving junior at Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield, Pennsylvania, recognized for her academic excellence and strong commitment to leadership. She has consistently earned First Honors throughout her academic career and received multiple academic achievement awards, reflecting both discipline and a sustained dedication to high performance.

Ryen is actively engaged in her school community as a member of the varsity cheer team and Lion Ambassadors & Connections, where she helps support prospective students and contributes to a welcoming and inclusive environment. Her involvement reflects a natural ability to lead, communicate effectively, and represent her school with confidence.

Beyond the classroom, Ryen continues to develop her leadership and service through her participation in the Ivy Akademy youth leadership program. She has also gained valuable early exposure to professional environments through her internship at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, where she began building a strong foundation for her future academic and career pursuits.

Looking ahead, Ryen plans to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Sports Management. She is passionate about combining her interests in business and athletics, and is committed to building a meaningful career within the sports industry.
