LaRoche Scholar | Founding Cohort 2026
Peyton Taylor is a rising senior at Brandywine High School in Delaware, where he has maintained a 3.3 GPA while balancing academics, athletics, and community service.
Driven by a desire to improve the lives of others, Peyton plans to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing before continuing his education toward becoming either a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or an Anesthesiologist. His interest in healthcare is rooted in compassion, precision, and a commitment to serving patients during some of life's most critical moments.
Outside the classroom, Peyton demonstrates leadership through athletics as a member of his school's football program, where teamwork, perseverance, and accountability have become part of his daily routine. He also volunteers with the Shorter AME Church Food Bank, reinforcing his belief that giving back to the community is just as important as personal achievement.
As he explores colleges including Oregon State University, the University of Delaware, Delaware State University, Howard University, Georgetown University, and Boston University, Peyton is taking intentional steps toward building a future in healthcare while seeking opportunities that will allow him to graduate with minimal student debt.
Through the LaRoche Scholars Network, Peyton continues to strengthen his academic preparation, expand his professional network, and position himself for scholarships, mentorship, and career opportunities that will help transform his aspirations into reality.
