Layla Ibrahim is an International Baccalaureate student at William W. Bodine High School for International Affairs in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she maintains a 4.28 GPA and ranks among the top students in her class.
She is a dedicated student leader, serving as Captain of the Debate Team, Tennis Club, and Black Student Union. Across each of these roles, Layla demonstrates a strong commitment to communication, discipline, and community engagement.
Layla has also developed meaningful experience in business and financial literacy. As a certified tax volunteer through the The Wharton School, she prepares tax returns for low-income individuals, gaining practical insight while supporting families in her community. She is further expanding her academic foundation through Business Leadership coursework at the Community College of Philadelphia.
Her academic interests include business management, marketing, and political science. Layla is currently exploring a range of highly selective institutions aligned with her goals, including Howard University, Spelman College, University of Pennsylvania (Wharton), Villanova University, Drexel University, Yale University, and Harvard University.
