Naila Storr is a junior at Archbishop John Carroll High School with a clear vision for her future: to become a pediatric nurse and make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their families. Driven by a genuine passion for caring for others, Naila is committed to combining compassion with clinical excellence in the healthcare field.
Her interest in the LaRoche Foundation was inspired by watching her peers navigate the college process. Seeing both the challenges and opportunities firsthand motivated her to take a proactive role in her own journey—while also positioning herself to support and guide others along the way.
Naila is deeply involved in her school community, where she balances leadership, creativity, and service. She serves as Head of the Sound Department and Assistant Sound Designer, while also supporting faculty and staff as an Administrative Assistant. Her commitment to service and inclusion is reflected through her involvement in Best Buddies, Community Service Corps, and Student Ambassadors.
In addition, Naila actively explores her future in healthcare through the Medical Explorers Program, while continuing to express her creativity and voice through Writing Club, Art Club, and other student organizations.
Through these experiences, Naila has developed strong communication skills, empathy, and a deep sense of responsibility—qualities that will serve as the foundation for her future in pediatric nursing. As a prospective member of the LaRoche Scholars Network, she represents a new generation of students preparing early, leading with purpose, and building pathways to meaningful impact.
